TIME June 18th, just before sunrise 5:30am
LOCATION The Section House, Chuza seaport.

BACKGROUND:

The Agents went undercover in the old area of Chuza known as the Abandonment or Paraisopolis. Valka kept his word and guided the Agents to the temporary hideout of the two burglars – a time-worn church home to possibly the worst smell the Agents had experienced.

WHAT HAPPENED

agents-report-mid

The Agents entered the church and Hawke peeked around the door to the main hall, spying a campfire.
Crowe sneaked into the main hall and crept towards the camp. He evaded visual detection but, Seth, on the second alert to noise, cast out a light spell (on a rock) to illuminate the hall.

Crowe hid in the shadows and moved closer. Reaching the edge of the camp, he hurled a Thunderstone, signalling the attack and, deafening Seth.
The Agents charged in and Seth cast Mirror Image while Priest consumed a potion of blur. The perps sought cover behind the makeshift barricades as the Agents attacked.

Hawke took the brunt of the damage and collapsed.
Siva (the dog) was next, victim to Seth’s flamethrower (burning hands) attacks.
Occupied by the melee, no one spotted Valka as he shifted from the shadows and stabilised Hawke.
Crowe moved up to assist Raven, looking for an opportunity to sneak attack.

Using the clamour of combat as cover, Valka extracted a tooth from the unconscious Hawke before administering healing (from Hawke’s wand) and returning into the shadows.

Hawke groggily came to and healed again.

Seth tried to cast flaming sphere but was unable to complete the complex phrase (deafened effect from the thunderstone).

Raven collapsed from Priests’ brutal attack and Crowe moved in to engage.

Seth was pushed back into a corner; Priest smashed the skull of a bound prisoner and drew her life energy (Death Knell).
Her wide-eyed look of shock before dying was quite disturbing.

Crowe retreated, downing a potion of healing before returning to despatch Seth.
Hawke battered Priest eventually bringing him down.

Raven was brought back to consciousness, and they gathered to dish out some much-needed healing.
