TIME June 8th, mid afternoon
LOCATION The Broken Mug Tavern, east side, close to the sea port.
BACKGROUND:
After enduring several uncomfortable weeks running an ‘obbo’ in a hot, cramped apartment, the Agents conducted a coordinated raid on the Broken Mug tavern in pursuit of a dark-skinned elven woman named Shirdrella. The team split to cover multiple entrances, with Hawke and Crowe entering through the front and Raven through the rear.
Inside, the Agents disrupted a public gathering and questioned the bartender, who directed them to the gaming area. There, they found Shirdrella with two disguised associates and a satchel containing suspicious vials. A confrontation ensued, resulting in the incapacitation and arrest of two gang members, while Shirdrella escaped through a hidden exit.
Hawke and Crowe pursued her into the crowded streets, aided by Hawke’s summoned companion and a speed-enhancing spell. The session concluded with the Agents in active pursuit, while Raven secured the captured suspects.
WHAT HAPPENED

Hawke and Crowe pursued Shirdrella through the crowded street to the Seabreeze Hotel. An argument between Shirdrella, a hotel attendant, and a guest gave the Agents just enough time to close the distance. She bolted up the stairs, with the Agents in hot pursuit, all the way to the third floor and the rooftop access.
Hawke climbed the ladder and pushed open the hatch—triggering a trap. A Tanglefoot bag and Thunderstone, wedged into the hatch, dropped past him. The Thunderstone exploded on the floor below, deafening Crowe, though he narrowly avoided being ensnared by the sticky residue.
Undeterred, Hawke forced the hatch open again and hauled himself onto the rooftop, weapons drawn. Crowe, still reeling from the blast, climbed through the lingering Tanglefoot strands.
Shirdrella sprinted toward a ladder leading to a higher rooftop, but Crowe clipped her with a shot from his KemerCannon—boom. She barely made it to the apex walkway before Hawke, empowered by Longstrider, caught up.
Crowe emerged onto the roof and calmly warned her not to move. Shirdrella froze and surrendered.

But as Hawke approached to restrain her, he noticed her gaze fixed on something behind him.
Sweat streaked down her dark skin, leaving pale, spidery trails—like cracks in obsidian.
Hawke resisted the urge to look back.
Then came the explosion.
A thunderous boom echoed from the docks. Shirdrella seized the moment, rolling toward the edge of the roof—but didn’t get far. Crowe shot her in the shoulder, and Hawke finished it with a baton strike, catching her before she tumbled off the tiles.
Back at the Broken Mug, Raven stabilised Marek but let his brother Tarek bleed out beside him. As Marek raged, spitting blood and broken teeth, Raven silenced him with a cold warning. She marched him—still manacled to his brother’s corpse—through the tavern and out to a Kemer-Lexi alert beacon.
With the beacon’s klaxon echoing through the streets, Raven grabbed the satchel of vials and exited through the back, searching for her team. She failed to track them in the chaos of Chuzan’s busy streets. But when the explosion rang out from the docks, she sprinted up a nearby apartment stairwell and climbed onto the roof.
Through fluttering laundry lines, she spotted Hawke stabilising Shirdrella on a distant rooftop.
Raven chose the high ground, leaping across alleyways until she reached the ladder where Crowe and Hawke were lowering the unconscious Drow.

They secured her to another Kemer-Lexi beacon.
The Agents, drenched in sweat, turned toward the docks.
At the wide-open dock gates, they encountered terrified workers fleeing a scene of devastation. Soldiers and labourers dragged the wounded away from a monstrous obsidian-skinned golem, nine feet tall, leaving a trail of fire and greasy smoke in its wake.
The Agents were met by a soldier named Jeff, a dock mage named Dawson, and two junior officers—Agents Dew and Branson.
From their panicked accounts, the Agents learned that the golem had rampaged through the wharf, killing and maiming.
Captain Joren had retreated into a warehouse with a few survivors and ordered Dawson to seal the doors with magic. Dawson complied, then fled.
The golem now pounded on the warehouse doors. The magical seal held—for now.
The Agents convinced Jeff, Dawson, and Dew to accompany them toward the threat. Branson remained at the gate, fending off doom-saying Karnath protestors.
The session ended with the Agents sprinting across the cobbled wharf toward the golem. As they ran, a mounted Tol Kerrate knight in reptilian armor galloped up beside them, calling out:
“Stand down from engagement until we see its intent. I’ll move to contain and find its weakness.”
